Laycee has been a dedicated member of the dental field for 8 years, with the last 5 years spent working alongside Dr. Casey as an assistant. Her passion for patient care, attention to detail, and friendly personality help make every visit a positive experience.

Laycee will continue her education in dentistry by attending dental hygiene school this year. She is looking forward to furthering her knowledge and skills so she can provide our patients with the best care possible.

When Laycee is not at the office, you can find her spending time with family, going on trips, or supporting her kids at their various sporting events.

Tori Smith completed dental assisting school and became certified in 2016. After spending several years at home raising her children, she returned to the dental field and has since gained four years of hands-on experience. Tori has a genuine passion for dentistry and loves the energy of a busy atmosphere. She takes pride in her attention to detail and, most importantly, in helping patients feel comfortable and cared for throughout their dental experience.

When she’s not in the office Tori enjoys photographing weddings, spending weekends at the baseball field cheering on her son during tournaments, and supporting her daughter at pageants. Between dentistry, photography, and her family, Tori loves staying busy and making the most of every moment.

Makayla has worked at Price & Baker Dentistry for almost 2 years. She is eager to continue growing and contributing to a positive patient experience in a supportive dental team. Dental assistant by day, stand-up comedian by night (just kidding... mostly). Almost 2 years of keeping mouths open and spirits high.

Krystle has been a dental assistant at our practice for 17 years. She has a gentle touch and a real gift for connecting with patients on a personal level.

Her faith is at the heart of everything she does. A devoted follower of Christ, Krystle loves reading and studying the Bible and has a deep passion for theology and growing closer to God. That same faith shapes the kindness and genuine care she brings to every patient who sits in her chair.

Outside the office, Krystle and her husband Blake are proud parents to Brayden and Burkely, and their family is rounded out by two dogs, a cat, and a bearded dragon. In her free time, she enjoys planting flowers and relaxing by the pool.

Courtney has been in dental for 14 years and working at Price & Baker Family Dentistry for almost 3 months. In her down time she enjoys spending time with her kids, reading, gardening, and thrifting.

Courtney's outgoing personality and her ability and knowledge to educate her patients has grown great rapport. Her patients love to come and see her.

Renee has been in the dental field for 14 years, with a total of 3 years right here at Price & Baker Family Dentistry. She loves talking with people and ensuring each patient's visit is a comfortable one. She enjoys working at Price & Baker Family Dentistry because it is the hometown where she grew up.

Outside of work, Renee loves to spend time with her husband Jason and two kids, Brylen and Noah. She also enjoys traveling, riding the Jeep, and being on the lake and ocean.

Kathy has been at Price and Baker Family Dentistry for six years. Known for her gentle touch and bright personality, she has become a favorite hygienist among patients of all ages.

When she's not caring for patients, Kathy enjoys reading and spending time with her husband, Justin, and their two dogs, Beau and Bonnie. She loves creating a warm and welcoming environment wherever she goes and values her relationships with others.

Kathy believes the best part of her job is getting to know her patients and helping them achieve healthy smiles while feeling right at home in the dental chair.

She was hired by Dr. Curtis Baker on August 31, 1986. She enjoys her time here, meeting patients and her co-workers. Outside interests include spending time with family and friends, reading, and church. She also loves sitting on her deck and watching all of God's creation.

Originally from Pell City, Alabama, Melea now calls Hollins home, where she lives with her husband of 22 years and their one son.

She began her career in the dental field in 2023 and quickly discovered a true passion for dentistry and patient care. Melea holds certifications in phlebotomy and IV therapy and enjoys continuing education to expand her knowledge and skills within the profession. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident while working alongside the dental team to help them achieve the healthy, beautiful smile they desire

When she's not at the office, you can usually find her spending quality time with family or in the kitchen baking something sweet. Meleas states "I’m grateful to be part of a profession that allows me to care for others, continue growing, and hopefully make each patient’s visit a little brighter."
